Project Design Process

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Mauris imperdiet a sem in fermentum.

01.

Goal Identification

Working with the client to determine what goals and targets the website needs to fulfil. This process helps define the purpose of the project and gives me a head-start to identifying the best approach.

02.

Scope Definition

Once the site’s goals have been identified, the scope of the project is defined. I.e. Listing the pages and features the site requires to fulfil the goal, and building a timeline for those tasks.

03.

Sitemap & Wireframe

With the scope well-defined, we can start digging into the sitemap, defining how the content and features we defined in the scope definition will interrelate with the use of wireframes.

04.

Content Creation

Creating content for the individual pages (with the use of HTML/CSS/JS or visual page builders), always keeping SEO in mind to help keep pages focused on a single topic. It’s vital to have real content to work with for our next stage.

05.

Visual Elements

With the base of the site completed, we can start working on the visual brand. Depending on the client, this may already be well-defined, but the visual style may be also defined from the ground up. Tools like such as moodboards will be utilized during this process.

06.

Testing & Finalizing

Combining manual browsing of the site on a variety of devices with automated site crawlers to identify everything from user experience issues to simple broken links. Once all’s working beautifully, it’s time to plan and execute the site launch strategy.
